All goods purchased through our website are done so at your descretion. ie you as the customer are ultimately responsible for the selection, installation and maintenance of the equipment, you may not hold us responsible for mis-selection of equipment. Complete filter units carry a "twelve month return to base" warranty.

The Filterdirect team despatch directly from our warehouse to all destinations around the UK offering quick delivery of our products. Our prices are kept very competitive prices, by keeping all overheads to a minimum.

This website was set up to provide online sales for straight forward water problems. If you have a complex issue it may require equipment not supplied here. In this instance our sister company will be pleased to assist, we suggest you complete our online enquiry form here and will they will contact you.

The goods on this site are normal stock items held in our central UK warehouse. Orders placed and paid for Monday - Friday, prior to noon will normally be despatched the same day. In the unlikely event of a delay or an item being out of stock we will contact you as soon as possible.

Warranty

In the unlikely event of a failure, any goods returned must be sent with proof of purchase, and a description of the fault: we reserve the right to repair or replace the equipment. The warranty given covers defective parts in manufacture. It does not cover damage caused through incorrect installation or use (instructions supplied with equipment). Filters require maintenance, elements and cartridges require replacement within a year as determined below.

Maintenance

To ensure correction operation Sediment filter elements must be replaced every 3 - 4 months, or sooner (dependant on water quality). These must be replaced regularly to prevent a build up of bacteria, or blockage. If the filter blocks it may disintegrate and contaminate your pipework.
carbon filter elements should be replaced every six months.

Selection of Equipment

We have done our best to publish all the technical information on our site to allow you to select the correct equipment. If you feel you need further assistance we suggest contacting us via this page. We will arrange for one of our technical staff to call you back as soon as possible. As the prices offered on our website are very competitive we are unfortunately not able to provide this service for free. A charge of £50 will be made for advice, however a discount will be given as detailed below if you place an order with us within 72 hours.

Codes are valued as follows, and can be used only once:
Total goods greater than £150: £25 discount
Total goods greater than £400: £50 discount

Ordering by Phone

We understand that some customers may wish to order by telephone. To allow us to deal with the high volume of orders we can not guarantee telephone support.
